This key secures your account by signing off-chain (L2) requests. When this key is updated on Loopring, it will invalidate all previous signatures. A user might want to update their EDDSA key if there are concerns that your key has been compromised, as it can be stored by third party sites.
An EDDSA Key update cannot currently be done through our UI.
If your EDDSA key updates after you listed your NFTs for sale, the signatures you used to list all your NFTs becomes invalid. When users try to purchase your NFTS, the listing will be invalidated by Loopring, and it will return as a de-listed NFT on the platform.
Your NFT count in your stats bar will decline, even if the NFT sale does not successfully go through and the NFT remains in your wallet.
The solution (If your EDDSA key was updated)
1. De-list any sell orders that you created before your EDDSA key was changed.
2. Re-list your NFTs that you would like to sell.
